IN THE PRESS
I give Out of Time the rate of 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to those who like stories about time travel. Better yet, I recommend it to everybody, children and adult alike who are concerned about the future and who are willing to do something to save the environment for future generation.
Thank you again for giving the staff and the children such a wonderful experience. I will be in touch in the future as we would love to work with you again.

Sarah's latest book - Laguz of the Library, is a cleverly engaging story that the children lapped up and includes a whole host of fun activities to keep them busy for hours.
The pleasure was all ours! Great fun! And library staff were nearly as well behaved as Milo. Many thanks for your visit.

Rearrange Your Brain is a gentle but powerful story that demonstrates and encourages readers to reframe their negative thoughts in favour of positive ones.

The children certainly did enjoy themselves and were talking about it for the rest of the week.

MILO & A BALL
I grew up on the south coast of England where I lived with my mum, dad, older sister and pet cat, pickles.
I loved school, although I was often told off for talking! Teachers said that I had a lively imagination, which may have been a polite way of saying I spent too much time entertaining everyone instead of listening!
I am married to a lovely man named Graham and have two sons who think they're too old for me to play silly tricks on.
So I often pretend that my three labradoodles: Milo, Lily and Lola, can talk, ringing them up at work pretending that there's an urgent problem that needs their attention - usually a missing ball or bone!
I get my inspiration from everywhere and everything, which means I spend a lot of time in my own imagination, often ignoring my friends in the street because I'm thinking about my stories.
Growing up my favourite story was The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton, until I discovered Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which I would read to my older sister before bedtime, making up additional scenes as I went; she was disappointed when the film came out that so many scenes were missing!
The best thing about reading is that it takes me away from things, so if I’m worried, bored or over excited, I can lose myself for half an hour or so and things don’t seem to be quite so bad.
If I coud be a storybook character I would be Babe the sheep-pig, because I know that I can be whatever I want to be, so long as I’m prepared to listen, learn and work hard. At the moment I’m an author, but next year, perhaps I’ll be a ballet dancer! Oh and I LOVE pigs!
My advice for budding writers is to read as often as you can to help grow your vocabulary; watch everything and everybody because inspiration is everywhere, and; practice - the more you practice the better you'll become.
Sarah visits the Reception class at Kings Oak Primary in Bedford on the 5th July to formally launch Reggie the Reading Dog.
